Troika Restaurant & Grocery

Throughout our history, VAAB has designed about a dozen projects for interior alterations for grocery stores. In this project, we especially liked Troika’s owners’ idea to combine a restaurant and a grocery store. The retail space features a deli, takeout counter, and restaurant, which share a commercial kitchen. Inspired by a cozy European wine cellar aesthetic, we incorporated a curved ceiling, with diversified lighting, brick arches, recessed display nooks and wine barrels, into the design of the restaurant, which beautifully showcases the cultural theme. The restaurant also features a raised performance area for live dinner entertainment.
