Roof Replacement at MTA Bush Division in Baltimore, Maryland

MTA Bush Street is a historic industrial park built in the beginning of the 20th century for the former United Railways & Electric Co., where it also housed the Carroll Park Shops. It now serves as an MTA bus depot and includes eight historical interconnected industrial brick buildings with slate roofs, skylights, and clerestories. During this project, VAAB performed an inspection and audit of the existing structures to plan the rehabilitation and renovation of the clerestories. We also replaced the slate roofs and skylights to bring new life to the park and improve the interior daylight lighting.
